A small gorge at the south coast of East Crete between Pefki village and the touristic resort of Makri Gialos. The best way to start walking the gorge is from Pefki village, which is 7 kms far from Revans Studios, Makri Gialos.

There is a clear-sighted path. The only difficulty you may face is to be informed by the inhabitants of Pefki village for the exact entrance of the gorge.

If you take a walk through Pefki village and Pefki Gorge, you will see that, apart from pine trees (pefka in Greek), the earth is blanketed in kermes oak, lentisc, olive and carob trees, while the villagers’ greenhouses are luckily located further south, in the plain of Makry Gialos and Goudouras.
